AquaPaddle Inverness is based at Dochgarroch Locks, by the An Talla, Café and Shop, just to the south of Inverness. There is plenty of parking and a good safe launch site. The route is heading north from the lock area towards Inverness through wooded banks and fields. As the route is on the Caledonian Canal it is resistant to effects of rainfall.
The meeting point is located just to the north of the lock

AquaPaddle Inverness is run by Tom along with his brilliant Crew of volunteers. If you would like to Volunteer and become a member of the local Crew, please contact the local AquaPaddle Captains through the Discord Comms System or email AquaPaddle

The route is downstream towards Inverness through beautiful Highland countryside, with view of the distant hills and mountains of the Highlands.
The River Ness runs alongside the Canal and gives the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife.

With the location situated at the North End of Loch Ness it is a great location to visit with Castles and breathtaking scenery. It is definitely a location to visit regardless if you are a local or ticking off another location as an AquaPaddle Tourist.
